I tend to shy away from shooting here - lots of very talented photographers so hard to stamp your mark on something that has already been shot to death. After saving a cat stuck up a tree, resucing a poor defenceless local seafront chav from an OAP\'s stern lecture about the dangers of mobile phones that play music out loud AND finding the time to play in an exhibition 11 vs 1 football match for underprivileged guinea pigs, our hero set off for home in style . . . WooooooooOOOOOOSH! Strobist info: SB600 at full power directly behind me on the floor angled up. Fired using Nikon CLS. Aperture: f11, Shutter: 1/200, ISO: 100. And obviously I masked out the flash in Photoshop, otherwise it\'d look weird. Check it out - you can hardly see the string

A trip to Butterfly Valley wouldn\'t be complete without butterflies. They seem to prefer the composite flowers this time of year, maybe because there\'s dozens of sturdy flowers densely packed into that one little head to dance back and forth among on their four tiny feet (two are tucked up). What a prize, to dance about while sucking the sweetness from their centers. I shot about a dozen photos of this little dancer, but only got a good dance pose in two of them. ;-)

Early start this morning, Nore Point @ Portishead for are few sunrise pics of this little Lighthouse. Pain in the you know what to get too but I love the location, peaceful, sunny, gorgeous. Will definitely be visiting this area again soon. This is a minor light on the coast of the Upper Bristol Channel near the town of Portishead. It was built as an aid to navigation of shipping in and out of the River Avon. The light was converted to electric and automated in 1941 and further modernised in 2000. It is now controlled form Harwich. Like me on Facebook. PLEASE VISIT MY PHOTOSTREAM..

GO ON, CLICK ME! ************************* WEBSITE************************* FACEBOOK Indeed it has been a long time coming to get a nice shot like this. This was the best sunset i\'ve been witness too since my days in Thailand and I worked HARD for it! This was my third scouting trip in the boat to get this shot (I found a new jetty too!) and in bare feet I had to walk through what was a combination of mangrove mud and dead coral and small bits of concrete, fun. Every step I took I sunk a good half a metre into this crap with my feet of course cathcing all the dead coral and whatever other shit was down there on the way! Fun fun fun. At the end of the day it was all worth it and it was definately a long time coming! On a side note just a slight crop and a logo was all that was required and this is 100% off camera. No boosts in color at all! I could not believe my eyes when here I was having a good old quiet wee and this glorious red started to appear on the horizon - wow!
